Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb scallops patted dry for the best sear
  • ½ lb shrimp peeled & deveined
  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil divided
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 ½ tablespoon gochujang adjust to spice preference
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for extra heat
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Scallops: Pat them super dry. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear scallops for 2 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. Shrimp: Add ½ tablespoon olive oil to the same pan. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred. Remove and set aside.
