How I make Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients
  

For the Chopped Cheese
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ½ green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning
For the Sandwich
  • 4 hoagie or sub rolls
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a skillet. Brown ground beef, breaking apart, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Add onion and bell pepper. Saute 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, adobo, and pepper. Cook 2 minutes.
  4. Lay cheese slices over beef mixture and let melt. Mix together.
  5. Mix ketchup, mayonnaise, and sriracha for the sauce.
  6. Toast hoagie rolls with butter.
  7. Spread sauce on rolls, pile on the cheesy beef, add tomato. Serve hot.
