Method
- In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dry thyme, paprika, cayenne pepper, kosher salt, and white pepper.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the avocado oil or olive oil and two tablespoons of the blackening seasoning. Whisk to incorporate.
- Transfer the salmon fillets to the marinade and make sure they are evenly coated.
- Set your air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit and let it preheat for 12 minutes.
- Once preheated, transfer the salmon fillets to the basket, skin side down. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, or until your desired doneness.
- Remove the salmon from the air fryer and transfer to a plate.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and garnish with fresh parsley.
