French Bread Recipe - Is it really French ? Kelvin's Kitchen

Ingredients
  

  • 1 French loaf (baguette)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Your favorite pizza toppings
  • 1 stick butter (½ cup), softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
  2. Cut the French loaf in half lengthwise.
  3. Mix softened butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Spread on cut sides of bread.
  4. Spoon pizza sauce over the garlic butter.
  5. Top with mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let cool a few minutes, slice and serve.
