  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 stick ½ cup of butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Optional: Dried oregano and crushed red pepper for seasoning

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French Loaf: Cut the French loaf in half lengthwise or horizontally.
  3. Prepare the Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, garlic powder, and dried Italian seasoning until well combined.
  4. Spread Garlic Butter on the Bread: Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French loaf.
  5. Add Pizza Sauce: Spoon pizza sauce onto the buttered cut sides of the French loaf, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with Cheese and Toppings: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce, then add your favorite pizza toppings on top.
  7. Season (Optional): If desired, sprinkle dried oregano and crushed red pepper over the toppings for extra flavor.
